History
Throughout our 35+ year history, Advanced Decisions has helped engineering and product development groups to build more reliable, higher quality products more quickly. The majority of our consultants are hands-on systems engineers with expertise in embedded and application software, and real-time systems. Here is a quick tour of some of our technical contributions:
In the 1970s we worked with Philips Medical Systems to develop the first microprocessor controlled X-ray generator. In the 1980s, we created a real-time embedded system that was employed on critical missions in NASA satellites. In the 1990s, Advanced Decisions helped Dictaphone design and develop one of the world’s first digital audio recording systems. And, in the 2000s, Advanced Decisions worked with Ascom-Hasler to produce a secure financial transaction infrastructure for postal systems.
Over the past decade, our clients have approached us with a need to speed up their time to market and gain competitive advantage. In order to respond, we have broadened our capabilities by adding new principals and consultants. Today, our team addresses process and strategy issues involved in moving products to market more quickly, as well as core engineering challenges in software and hardware.
Advanced Decisions has corporate headquarters in Shelton, Connecticut.
