Needs Statement:
Client manufactures Postal Meters and provides the supporting financial transaction-processing infrastructure.
Major Challenges:
Develop a robust architecture employing encryption security that meets or exceeds U.S. and Canadian Postal Regulations.
Project:
The Advanced Decisions team that architected and developed a secure transaction system. Initially, requirements were gathered from the Client, user community, Postal Regulators and security experts. A distributed, secure remote accessible system was architected employing encryption based upon the latest Public Key Infrastructure. The system was a multi-tier architecture built on Microsoft Windows Client-Server framework. The system was developed in 18 months and is now deployed in the US and Canadian markets.
