Judi Otton was always good in math and science. But instead of putting it to good use and hitting the blackjack tables, she decided to help others instead. In college, her love for electrical engineering grew, and knew it would lead into her future career. Beginning in ASIC design and moving on to hardware, firmware, and then higher-level software development – Judi’s knowledge and expertise in engineering increased exponentially. She began leading teams in the early 90’s, and never looked back. Joining Advanced Decisions in 2005, her broad background enabled her to understand the management and technical challenges involved in bringing new products to market. Working with clients to overcome these challenges is one of her favorite parts of the job. As an executive at ESPN, Judi led the application development organization in deploying applications across several Walt Disney business units, and in instituting effective development processes that reduced support and maintenance costs. Judi brings a depth of hands-on management and development experience to clients in bringing their products/applications to market. When asked what people might be surprised to know about Advanced Decisions, Judi talks about the wide variety of products ADI has developed. Everyday applications are brought to life along with some so top secret; it puts James Bond’s gadgets to shame. Catch Judi in the morning making the first batch of coffee, getting ready to start the new day. |
